On April 7, 2025, at the University, an associate professor from the “Transport Construction” department, Alimkulov M.M., delivered a lecture on “Innovations in Modern Geodesy in Railway Transport” to employees of JSC “NC KTZ” from all regions of Kazakhstan who are undergoing advanced training courses.
The lecture covered the latest advancements in geodesy, which have a significant impact on the development and modernization of railway infrastructure. Special attention was given to the application of innovative technologies such as satellite positioning systems, laser scanning, and data processing methods using high-precision geodetic instruments. A.M. Alimkulov thoroughly analyzed the impact of these technologies on increasing the accuracy of the design, construction, and operation of railway facilities, as well as their role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of transportation.
