In order to prevent destructive behavior and raise psychological awareness among students, a lecture-seminar on the topic “Suicide and Bullying” was held in Dormitory No. 4 for 1st–4th year students.
The event was conducted by psychologist of the Medical Health Center of Almaty, Zhuldyz Serikpaevna Zhetibaeva. During the seminar, key issues related to the causes and consequences of bullying and suicidal behavior among young people were discussed. Practical recommendations were provided on how to timely identify signs of destructive behavior and offer appropriate support to students.
Special attention was given to developing students’ self-help skills, strengthening resilience to stress, and fostering a culture of mutual respect and support within the student community.
Such initiatives contribute to promoting the psychological well-being of students and creating a safe and supportive educational environment at the University.
