According to the department work plan, an educational and methodological seminar on the topic “Features of Modern English and Their Reflection in Teaching” was conducted.
The seminar was held at the departmental level. The speaker was Omirzhanova Sh.K., Assistant Teacher of the Department of Language Education.
The event took place on March 11, 2026, and was conducted in three languages: Kazakh, Russian, and English. During the seminar, participants discussed the current trends and features of modern English, its application in the educational process, and effective modern methods of teaching foreign languages. Special attention was paid to improving the quality of education, developing students’ language competencies, and implementing innovative teaching approaches.
The seminar was organized in accordance with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal No. 4 — “Quality Education.” At the end of the seminar, participants exchanged opinions and methodological experiences, emphasizing the relevance and practical significance of the topic.
