On April 15, 2026, the Department of ICT held a seminar on the topic “Pedagogical and Scientific Achievements in the Field of Information and Communication Technologies.”
The seminar featured presentations by researchers from the Institute of Information and Computational Technologies of the Academy of Sciences, recipients of the “Best Teacher” award Yerimbetova A.S. and Turdalyuly M., as well as Professor Amirkhanova G.A. from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
During the seminar, the speakers introduced participants to recent achievements in the field of ICT, shared insights on pathways to scientific success, and discussed current challenges and future prospects in pedagogical and scientific research.
Special attention was given to the implementation of innovative technologies and the development of digital infrastructure in education, which is directly related to Sustainable Development Goal 9 (SDG 9) — “Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure.” The discussions emphasized the importance of strengthening scientific potential, supporting research activities, and adopting advanced ICT solutions to improve the quality of education and scientific outcomes.
The seminar served as a platform for knowledge exchange, discussion of modern trends in ICT, and strengthening academic and pedagogical collaboration.
