On March 18, as part of the “Digital Nauryz – 2026” project and the “Nauryznama” decade, the Sales Department, in collaboration with the ALTeam, hosted a cultural and educational event dedicated to the Day of National Clothing titled “National Clothing – The Mirror of the Nation” (Ұлттық киім – ұлт айнасы).

The primary objective of the event was to promote national traditions, strengthen respect for Kazakhstan’s cultural heritage, and foster values of unity, originality, and national identity among students.

University students and staff actively participated in the program, showcasing a variety of traditional looks and revealing the many facets of Kazakh culture. The event featured a national costume runway show (defile), interactive activities, and creative tasks designed to deepen knowledge of the people’s traditions and customs.

A special highlight of the event was the live sound of the dombra, which enhanced the festive atmosphere and allowed participants to truly feel the national spirit.

The implementation of such initiatives contributes to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically:

  • SDG 4 “Quality Education”: Enhancing cultural literacy and respect for national heritage.
  • SDG 11 “Sustainable Cities and Communities”: Preserving and developing cultural values.
  • SDG 17 “Partnerships in the framework of sustainable development”: Strengthening cooperation between students and university staff.

The event took place in a friendly and inspiring atmosphere, leaving participants with positive impressions and emphasizing the importance of popularizing national culture among the younger generation.
