On March 4, the faculty members of the Department of Transport Services and Business organized a cultural and educational event — National Clothing Day in the format of a “Bauyrsak Party”.

The aim of the event was to promote national traditions, foster respect for the cultural heritage of Kazakhstan, and cultivate among students the values of cultural diversity, unity, and social responsibility.

Students and teachers actively participated in the celebration, presenting national costumes and demonstrating the richness and uniqueness of Kazakh culture. The program included engaging competitions, a blitz quiz, and creative tasks aimed at enhancing knowledge about national traditions and customs.

The festive atmosphere was enriched by traditional treats — bauyrsaks, which symbolize the hospitality and unity of the Kazakh people.

Holding such events contributes to the implementation of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), in particular:

  • SDG 4 “Quality Education” — developing cultural awareness and fostering respect for national heritage.

  • SDG 11 “Sustainable Cities and Communities” — preserving cultural heritage and traditions.

  • SDG 17 “Partnerships for the Goals” — strengthening cooperation and interaction between students and teachers.

The event was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere, giving participants positive emotions and once again emphasizing the importance of preserving and promoting national traditions among young people.
