On February 12, 2026, ALT University hosted an ознакомительный visit by the Chair of the Committee for Higher and Postgraduate Education of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Gulzhan Sagidullayevna Dzharasova, and Deputy Chair Karlygash Aitbayevna Ramazanova.

During the visit, the guests explored the university’s educational, research, and innovation infrastructure and discussed strategic priorities for the development of higher education and the training of next-generation engineering specialists.

The delegation was presented with key facilities and laboratories, including Automotive Engineering, Smart Home, Robotics and Mechatronics, the HUAWEI Academy AI, Intelligent Sensing Lab, the Pilot School, Coding Club, the ALT University Technopark, the Smart Roads center for road and construction design and quality control, the Smart Logistics training center, and the Lu Ban Workshop.

Particular attention was given to areas related to digital technologies, automation, transport engineering, energy, and intelligent control systems.

Chair of the Management Board – Rector Meruert Sovetovna Zharmagambetova, Founder Gulzana Beibitovna Serikova, and the university’s leadership presented the institution’s educational and research model, outlining current projects and priority development areas. Special emphasis was placed on the integration of artificial intelligence technologies, the development of engineering competencies, and dual education.

The dialogue also addressed the adaptation of academic programs to the demands of the digital economy, the development of research activities, training specialists for the transport, energy, and IT sectors, as well as expanding international cooperation and academic mobility.

Gulzhan Dzharasova highlighted the importance of modernizing universities’ material and technical base and conducting systematic work to improve the quality of educational programs, emphasizing the value of practice-oriented training.

Following the visit, the parties confirmed their readiness for further cooperation in implementing state policy in higher and postgraduate education, advancing digitalization in the learning process, and strengthening scientific potential.
