On May 18, in celebration of International Museum Day and the cultural campaign “Night at the Museum,” an educational excursion was organized to the Ykhlas Museum of Folk Musical Instruments.
Students of the Institute of Transport and Construction actively participated in the event, gaining an opportunity to become more familiar with the national cultural heritage. The main purpose of the excursion was to broaden the students’ spiritual and cultural outlook, increase their interest in national values, and encourage young people to actively engage in the cultural environment. During the museum visit, participants learned about the history of Kazakh folk musical instruments, their unique features, and their historical significance.
In addition, the event was held within the framework of implementing SDG 11 — “Sustainable Cities and Communities” at the university, contributing to the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage, as well as the development of social and cultural responsibility among young people.
