On February 11, 2026, Psycho Express AUES – 2026 was held at Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev (Building D, Assembly Hall, 124 Baitursynov Street, Almaty).
Dariya Rakhimalievna Shabdenova, Head of the Office of Inclusive Education and Mental Health, participated in the event as a psychologist-consultant of AUPET.
As part of the program, a guest lecture titled “Psychologist’s Work with Inclusive Students” was delivered by Elena Vladimirovna Musikhina, PhD in Psychology, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Director of the International Academy of Practical Psychology and Pedagogy, Academician of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Kazakhstan, Associate Professor, and psychologist at the University of International Business.
The lecture covered modern approaches to psychological support for students with special educational needs, practical counseling algorithms, ethical considerations, and strategies for building an inclusive educational environment. Participants gained updated theoretical knowledge and practical skills in effective communication, psychological support, and fostering a safe and inclusive academic space.
Within the framework of Psycho Express, psychological assistance was provided to AUPET students, including individual consultations.
The event concluded with an award ceremony and a group photo session.
This initiative contributes to the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Quality Education (SDG 4), Reduced Inequalities (SDG 10), and Good Health and Well-being (SDG 3).
