On March 5, 2026, students of the Department of Information and Communication Technologies, under the guidance of lecturer N.A. Makhasheva, made an introductory visit to the aluminum plant QazAlPack LLP. This event was organized within the framework of Sustainable Development Goal 17 – “Partnerships for the Goals” and was aimed at strengthening cooperation between educational institutions and industrial enterprises.
QazAlPack is the only enterprise in Central Asia with a production capacity of up to 750 million sets of aluminum beverage cans and lids per year.
During the excursion, the plant’s specialists provided detailed information about the company’s main activities, aluminum production technologies, as well as modern information systems and automated control tools used in the manufacturing process. The students visited the production workshops and became familiar with the processes of production digitalization, the role of information technologies in production management, occupational safety requirements, and the labor organization system at the enterprise.
In the future, it is planned that students of the Information and Communication Technologies program will undergo industrial internships at this enterprise.
