On December 25, 2025, within the framework of Sustainable Development Goal No. 4 “Quality Education,” the Department of General Engineering organized a subject olympiad in Physics and Mathematics among first-year students.
The main objective of the olympiad was to develop students’ scientific thinking, deepen their theoretical knowledge, and increase their interest in the academic subjects.
Students from the educational programs “Transport Construction,” “Rolling Stock Engineering,” “Mechanical Engineering,” and “Radio Engineering, Electronics, and Telecommunications” took part in the event. They solved complex numerical and logical problems, demonstrating their level of knowledge and preparation.
During the olympiad, participants demonstrated a high level of preparedness, strong logical thinking skills, and subject-specific competence. The jury evaluated the students’ answers and identified the top performers. Winners and prize recipients were awarded diplomas and letters of appreciation.
This olympiad became an important step in stimulating students’ interest in science and opened opportunities for their future participation in various scientific projects and research activities.
