Today, a ceremonial event was held to mark the launch of field engineering and geodetic work by a student team, jointly organized by JSC “NC “Kazakhstan Temir Zholy” and M.Tynyshpayev ALT University.
Future specialists will take part in geodetic surveys on specific sections of the main railway line between Zhezkazgan and Beineu. The main task will be to perform instrumental surveying of the actual position of the main track using total stations and other specialized equipment.
At the beginning of the event, Berik Kabylkairovich Nurmukhametov, Lead Engineer for Occupational Health and Safety at the Aktogay Track Maintenance Division, conducted a safety briefing in the format of a “Safety Minute,” reminding participants of key safety rules in the field.
Parting words and wishes for success were delivered by Rector of ALT University, Ms. Zharmagambetova M.S., and Director of the Department of Track and Structures of the “Mainline Network Directorate” branch of JSC “NC “Kazakhstan Temir Zholy,” Mr. Bubikanov A.S.
Veteran railway workers also addressed the students with words of encouragement — Chairman of the Regional Council of Veterans, Mr. Duan Kumyranovich Umarov, and ALT University’s Managing Director for Commercialization, Mr. Khuram Yakshibayevich Muradov.
The event concluded with a ceremonial march, symbolically sending the students off to the field with wishes for successful work, professional growth, and valuable hands-on experience.
