On March 2, 2026, a training session titled “Prevention of Destructive Behavior: Live in Resource – How to Cope with Negativity Without Self-Destruction” was held at the academic building of ALT University named after Mukhametzhan Tynyshpaev.

The event was organized and conducted by the Head of the Office of Inclusive Education and Mental Health, Dariya Rakhimalievna Shabdenova.

The training brought together 50 university students who gained practical knowledge and skills in:

  • recognizing signs of emotional burnout and destructive behavior;
  • managing stress and negative emotions;
  • strengthening psychological resilience and personal resources;
  • developing self-regulation techniques and maintaining mental well-being.

The training included psychoeducational components, practical emotional regulation exercises, resource recovery techniques, and discussion of real-life situations.

Such initiatives contribute to building a culture of psychological safety and well-being in the educational environment, while promoting responsible attitudes toward mental health among students.

The event contributes to the implementation of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):

  • SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being
  • SDG 4: Quality Education
  • SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities

The Office of Inclusive Education and Mental Health continues its systematic work aimed at strengthening students’ psychological well-being.
