Associate Professor of the Department of Information Communication Technologies Ismagulova Zhuldyz Sauelkhanovna held a master class within the framework of the subject “Information Systems Project Management”.
During the lesson, the main methods of managing modern IT projects were considered, and a teamwork format was implemented. Participants were introduced to the processes of distributing, performing and controlling tasks among team members during the project implementation period. In addition, the capabilities of digital tools and platforms used in the organization of project activities were demonstrated. During the lesson, the theoretical foundations of project management were combined with practice, and special attention was paid to the development of important soft skills such as team interaction, leadership, effective communication, time management and problem solving.
During the tasks, students demonstrated the processes of planning projects, distributing tasks, monitoring progress and analyzing work results using the Jira platform. In addition, students presented their case projects and shared their experience working in a real project environment.
The master class was a great opportunity for young teachers to exchange professional experience and master modern educational technologies. During the event, participants got acquainted with effective methods of organizing project-based learning and tried out ways to use the Jira platform in the educational process. In addition, young teachers gained valuable experience in organizing teamwork, coordinating students’ project activities, effectively using digital tools, as well as developing important soft skills such as communication, leadership, time management and team building. Such master classes improve the pedagogical skills of young specialists and open up new opportunities for introducing innovative methods into the educational process.
