On December 5, 2025, the “Psycho Express ALT” collaboration was held in the Grand Conference Hall of the Main Academic Building (Shevchenko 97) at M. Tynyshpaev ALT University, together with psychologists from universities across Almaty, within the framework of the Coordination Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The project aims to provide rapid psychological diagnostics, promote a culture of seeking psychological support among students, and increase access to qualified mental-health assistance.
Leading psychologists from Almaty, representing various modalities of psychotherapy and counseling, delivered anonymous consultations for students, faculty members, and staff.
“Psycho Express ALT” focused on improving emotional well-being, strengthening self-regulation skills, developing inner resources, and helping participants overcome academic and socio-emotional challenges.
More than 80 students and staff members were covered during the event.
Consultations and training sessions included prevention of self-destructive, destructive and addictive behaviors. Applied modalities included:
cognitive-behavioral therapy, art therapy, body-oriented therapy, relief-therapy, gestalt, logotherapy, family therapy, psychodrama, and work with metaphorical associative cards (MAC).
