On April 14, 2026, a meeting of the Student Research Work (SRW) Commission was held at the Institute of Transport and Construction of JSC “ALT University named after Mukhamedzhan Tynyshpaev.” During the meeting, an analysis and evaluation of the research work of students from the Department of Architectural and Construction Engineering (ACE) was conducted. The event was also organized within the framework of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 12 — “Responsible Consumption and Production”).
A total of 14 scientific projects prepared by students of the following educational programs were reviewed:
- 6B07130 – Highways and airfields
- 6В07322 – Construction of oil and gas facilities
- 6B07324 – Construction of roads and airfields
- 6В07329 – Construction of industrial and civil buildings and structures
- 6B07330 – Architecture of buildings and structures
The Chair of the Commission, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of ALT Murlzalina G.B., emphasized the high level of relevance of the presented works. According to her, the projects submitted this year fully comply with modern technical requirements of the construction and transport sectors. Particular attention was given by experts to research in innovative construction technologies, structural stability, and the implementation of modern engineering solutions.
Based on the results of the research activities, all participants were awarded I, II, and III degree diplomas for their innovative approach and scientific novelty.
Members of the commission highly appreciated the theoretical preparation and practical significance of the presented works and decided to recommend the best of them for publication in scientific journals and participation in republican-level conferences.
Such student initiatives make an important contribution to the development of Kazakhstan’s scientific and technological potential and support the training of qualified engineering researchers.
Students gained valuable experience in conducting and defending scientific research, improving their professional competencies. The ACE Department congratulates all participants on their achievements and wishes further success in their scientific activities.
