On October 17, 2025, the Mukhamedzhan Tynyshpayev ALT University successfully hosted a meeting of the Educational and Methodological Association of the Republican Educational and Methodological Council of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan (EMA of the REMC) in the areas of personnel training: «Engineering» and «Transport Services». The event was held in a mixed format (online/offline) and brought together leading experts, representatives of science and business.
The meeting focused on the introduction of modern technologies and techniques into the educational process. A report on the topic «On the introduction of artificial intelligence into the educational process» by the Chairman of the Board, Rector of ALT University, Chairman of the EMA of the REMC M.S. Zharmagambetova was heard. The necessity is discussed and strategic approaches to the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) tools into curricula are identified to ensure the competitiveness of graduates in the field of engineering and transport.
Valdin V.V., Director of Solutions in the field of Passenger Transport at «Transproekt» LLC, also made a presentation on the topic «Planning and optimization of transport systems based on mathematical modeling methods». The report presents practical cases and methods of mathematical modeling of transport systems, confirming the importance of applied knowledge in the training of specialists. Following the meeting, it was decided to develop a plan for the introduction of AI technologies in the educational process and the organization of teacher retraining. The thematic plan for publications of Educational and methodological literature in the areas for the 2025-2026 academic year has been approved, providing students with relevant educational resources. New educational and methodological literature recommended for use in universities has been reviewed and approved..
The meeting confirmed the strategic course of ALT University and partner universities towards the modernization of educational programs and their practical orientation, which is achieved through active cooperation with industry leaders and the introduction of advanced technologies.
