As part of the “Road Safety” educational program, jointly implemented by ALT University and the Almaty Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a practical field session for cadets was held at the “Blue Star of Kazakhstan” LLP, the official Mercedes-Benz dealership in Almaty. The session was led by Manarbek Nurasbekovich Yessengaliyev, Associate Professor of the Department of “Motor Vehicles and Life Safety” at ALT University and Candidate of Technical Sciences.

The primary objective of the field session was to familiarize future law enforcement officers with contemporary automotive technologies, the specifics of vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repair, as well as the operational workflow of a modern dealership and service center.

During the visit, company specialists introduced the cadets to the operational principles of the Mercedes-Benz dealership, demonstrating advanced diagnostic hardware, maintenance zones, and body repair shops. Special emphasis was placed on automotive electronic systems, vehicle safety features, and the integration of innovative technologies in service operations.

The cadets had the opportunity to explore professional equipment for computerized vehicle diagnostics, engage with practicing industry professionals, and discuss the nuances of technical vehicle inspection and forensics.

This hands-on, practice-oriented training format is a cornerstone of the “Road Safety” course, which ALT University and the Almaty Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have been successfully running for the second consecutive year. Such field sessions enable future specialists to reinforce their theoretical knowledge through real-world application, gain exposure to cutting-edge automotive advancements, and elevate their professional competencies in ensuring public road safety.
