On November 27 of this year, ALT University hosted an insightful event aimed at enhancing the digital literacy and culture of young people. Representatives from the Department of Economic Investigations of Almaty delivered an informative lecture for our students on modern threats and effective ways to protect themselves.
The event was organized within the framework of the “Law and Order” principle and focused on preventing the growing number of digital and financial fraud cases in today’s society, as well as improving the legal awareness of youth.
In an era when information and financial assets carry ever-growing value, every aspect of security becomes crucial. To address this, specialists from the department are conducting a series of lectures in the city’s universities, teaching the younger generation how to stay safe in cyberspace, how to identify suspicious information, and how to handle fundamental principles of financial literacy.
During the session held at ALT University, students explored real-life examples, gaining a deeper understanding of digital security and recognizing their role in building a responsible and conscious society.
Educated, security-minded, and digitally responsible youth are the solid foundation of the nation’s future.
