On May 21, in Astana, the Public Association “Kazakhstan Branch Professional Union of Railway, Automobile, Air, and Water Transport Workers (KAZPROFTRANS)” organized a scientific and practical conference titled “Strength in Unity, Pride in History,” dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the Kazakhstan Railway Workers’ Union.
The conference was held at a very high level, with the participation of guests from both near and far abroad, as well as Rectors of professional higher educational institutions. M.S. Zharmagambetova, President-Rector of ALT University named after Mukhametzhan Tynyshbayev, was specially invited to this event and delivered an important report on the University’s plans and goals in preparing future specialists.
This event clearly demonstrated the importance of the Trade Union’s role in the railway industry, as well as the crucial interlinkage between higher educational institutions, employers, and specialists in the process of their preparation.
