On April 29, 2025, a scientific and practical Round Table titled “The Concept of the ‘Perfect Human’ and Modernity” was held at the «ALT University named after Mukhamedzhan Tynyshbaev».

The event took place from 15:00 to 16:20 in room 2702 (conference hall). It was organized jointly by the Department of General Engineering and the Institute of Military Affairs.

The aim of the round table was to encourage students toward spiritual development, self-improvement, and the promotion of moral values through Abai Kunanbayuly’s concept of the “Perfect Human.”

Faculty members, university departments, and students actively participated in the event.

The moderator was Balnur Bauyrzhankyzy, a student of the “OViIR-11” group from the military department, who performed her role at a high level.

The event began with a welcoming speech from the Head of the General Engineering Department, who shared profound thoughts and wishes with the youth. He emphasized that Abai’s teachings remain relevant and valuable today.

Among the invited guests was Associate Professor of the KOI Department and Candidate of Philosophical Sciences, Satybaldy Nurpeisov. He highlighted the significance of the “Perfect Human” concept in Abai’s works, enriching his speech with the poet’s verses.

The following presentations were delivered during the round table:
– Erali Ozhan (student of group AZS-24k-3) – “The Influence of the Environment on Human Character and Qualities.” He thoroughly analyzed how family, society, and education shape a person’s character.
– Turganbek Aruzhan (student of group OViIR-11) – “Abai’s Understanding of the Perfect Human as a Measure of Spiritual Integrity and Moral Perfection.” Aruzhan examined Abai’s ethical ideas and interpreted them in terms of the personal development of today’s youth.

Other presentations were also delivered.

After each presentation, a discussion took place. Students and faculty asked questions and shared their views. A particularly active discussion centered on the qualities needed to become a “Perfect Human.”

During the event, Tamara Didarbaeva, a lecturer from the Department of General Engineering, emotionally recited Abai’s poem “Don’t Believe the Crowd,” inspiring the audience.

In the concluding part, congratulatory speeches were delivered by Patam Turganovna Akhmetova, Head of the General Engineering Department and Candidate of Technical Sciences, and Colonel  Ernazar Khamidullayevich Ishanov, Head of the Institute of Military Affairs, Master of Pedagogical Sciences, and war veteran. They emphasized the importance of the round table and thanked the most active students. The best participants and speakers were awarded certificates of appreciation.

At the end of the event, all participants took a commemorative photo. The round table concluded with a traditional “Kui” musical performance by students, leaving a strong impression on the audience.

This round table was an important spiritual event aimed at instilling national spirit in the younger generation, deepening their understanding of Abai’s legacy, and encouraging them to apply it in life.
