Third-year students of the Department of “Automation and Control” at the Institute of “Energy and Digital Technologies” participated in a familiarization internship at the partner enterprise — Almaty Signaling and Communication Distance (ShCh-33).
Direct exposure to the production environment allows students to develop practice-oriented competencies and improve their skills in working with modern technologies. This format gives future specialists the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of real production processes and accumulate professional experience.
Familiarization with production is an effective model of integrating education with practical work. It helps students adapt to the current labor market requirements and develop responsibility and professional skills.
The program also contributes to the implementation of Sustainable Development Goal 12 — Responsible Consumption and Production. This direction focuses on efficient resource use, enhancing production culture, and applying sustainable development principles in professional activities.
During the event, students were guided through the production processes by senior electromechanic of RCUP-2 SOB, Abay Bауyrzhanuly Beysenbekov.
