From February 26 to March 2, 2026, faculty members from M. Tynyshpayev ALT University visited JSC Transtelecom, RTeL Group LLP, and ALLONS TELECOM as part of the implementation of Sustainable Development Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). The visit aimed to strengthen cooperation in telecommunication technologies, explore innovative solutions, and integrate them into the educational process through dual education.

Faculty from the Department of Radio Engineering and Telecommunications, including E.M. Almetova, B. Khabibollaqyzy, and M.O. Yerishova, analyzed the industrial and technological environment of the enterprises and assessed the effectiveness of the dual education model. During introductory sessions, they monitored students’ professional activities integrated into real production processes to evaluate their professional competencies.

Special emphasis was placed on using modern diagnostic tools, such as reflectometers used to detect faults in electrical and fiber-optic cables. Working with such equipment provides students with hands-on experience in modern telecommunications technology.

Furthermore, the faculty conducted remote monitoring of the dual education process for students interning in other cities, including Taldykorgan and Uralsk, via online sessions. This ensured effective oversight of the learning process and maintained a high standard of professional training.

The university’s collaboration with the telecommunications sector fosters the development of educational programs aligned with modern labor market demands and promotes the integration of innovative technologies into the curriculum, a key element of the sustainable development strategy.
