On March 11, 2026, within the framework of the implementation of Sustainable Development Goal No. 4 “Quality Education”, a guest lecture on the topic “Creating IT Startups Using AI” was organized and conducted for students of the educational programs 6B06116 “Information Systems”, 6B06172 “Big Data Technologies”, 6B06118 “Software Engineering”, and 6B06126 “Applied Artificial Intelligence”.
The speakers of the event were graduates of the ICT Department: Bekzhan Nurlanuly Seitkali, Senior Software Engineer at Kcell JSC, and Zhangirkhan Saparuly Nurgaliev, Director of ENERGY System Logistics LLP.
During the lecture, the speakers discussed modern trends in IT startup development, shared their practical experience in software development, and highlighted modern frontend development technologies such as React, Next.js, TypeScript, and React Native. In addition, technologies such as NestJS and MongoDB used in backend development were also discussed.
This event contributed to improving the quality of training of future IT specialists and the development of their professional competencies and practical skills, which corresponds to the objectives of Sustainable Development Goal No. 4 aimed at ensuring quality education and developing relevant skills for successful employment.
Students had the opportunity to learn about real cases of IT startup development, ask questions to practicing professionals, and receive recommendations for developing their professional skills in the field of information technology. Such meetings help strengthen cooperation between education and industry, develop students’ entrepreneurial thinking, and increase their motivation for professional growth.
