April 6, 2026 — As part of the traditional “Month of Science” (April 1–30), a significant event took place at the ALT University named after Mukhamedzhan Tynyshpayev. The Department of Architectural and Construction Engineering (ACE) organized a master class for faculty, students, and young researchers titled: “Research Skills: Search, Processing of Scientific Information, and Anti-plagiarism.”
The event was aimed at implementing one of the UN Sustainable Development Goals — SDG 4: “Quality Education” — and enhancing the scientific potential of the university.
The following key topics were discussed during the master class:
- G. Moldaganapova, Senior Lecturer of the ACE Department, opened the meeting, introduced the speakers, and emphasized the importance of modern trends in research activities.
- Madina Sabitovna Dulatova, Director of the Library and Information Center, shared valuable insights on effective methods for searching scientific information, working with international databases, and international standards for formatting scientific references and citations.
- Yulia Vladimirovna Amangeldieva, Chief Specialist of the Department of Science and Innovation, discussed in detail the secrets of successfully passing the “Anti-plagiarism” system and the core principles of academic honesty.
- Yeldos Altaiuly Altai, Director of the Department of Science and Innovation, Candidate of Technical Sciences, PhD, summarized the meeting and wished young scientists success in their research endeavors.
The event served as an essential guide for future specialists in the high-quality preparation of diploma projects and scientific articles in accordance with international requirements.
