On February 4, 2026, as part of the implementation of Sustainable Development Goal No. 4 (SDG 4) “Quality Education,” a guest lecture titled “Modern Trends in Telecommunications” was organized for students of the educational programs “6B06209 – Radio Engineering, Electronics, and Telecommunications” and “6B06208 – Telecommunication Systems and Railway Communication Networks.”
The guest speaker was Vladimir Shelakov, Regional Director of the German company PHYWE, which specializes in developing and supplying state-of-the-art laboratory equipment for education and scientific research.
This event aimed to enhance the quality of the educational process and strengthen the university’s interaction with industry professionals. During the lecture, students explored current trends in telecommunication technologies, modern approaches to infrastructure design, and innovative solutions applied within the industry.
Organizing guest lectures with practitioners facilitates the integration of theoretical knowledge with practical experience and is a vital element in training competitive specialists. Such initiatives align with the objectives of SDG 4, which focus on providing accessible quality education, developing professional competencies, and equipping students with the skills necessary for success in an era of technological advancement and digital transformation.
