As part of advancing innovative technologies and strengthening scientific and technical potential, Mukhamejan Tynyshpayev ALT University is implementing educational and research projects focused on integrating modern digital and automated solutions. One such project is the development of an automated barrier control system based on the Arduino Uno microcontroller platform.

This project focuses on creating an efficient access control system for vehicles, suitable for parking lots, educational institutions, industrial sites, and other infrastructure facilities. Utilizing the Arduino Uno platform allows for the automation of the barrier’s opening and closing processes, enhancing security and optimizing traffic flow management.

Throughout the project, students utilize modern electronic components, sensors, and software solutions, which fosters practical competencies in electronics, automation, programming, and robotics.

Scientific and methodological guidance for the project is provided by faculty members E.M. Almetova and B. Khabibollaqyzy.

The implementation of such projects at ALT University contributes to the formation of an innovative educational environment, the development of students’ engineering skills, and the introduction of advanced technological solutions into infrastructure. This directly aligns with Sustainable Development Goal No. 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure.
