On January 28, 2026, a practice-oriented educational meeting was held in classroom R001 (Jindon) within the course “Information Systems in Warehouse Management,” aimed at developing professional competencies in sustainable logistics infrastructure design.

Under the guidance of invited industry expert Maxim Shumakov, Head of Logistics at Tikkurila LLP, students of group CL-22-2r examined the practical aspects of implementing modern technological solutions in warehouse logistics. The session aligned with Sustainable Development Goal No. 9: “Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure,” adapted for the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The practicum featured case studies on developing automated identification systems using RFID technology as a foundation for “smart” and resilient warehouse infrastructure. Special emphasis was placed on the role of automation and digital identification in building reliable logistics systems. The meeting was organized by the academic staff of the Department of Transport Services and Business, G.Zh. Kenzhebayeva and A. Alik.
