On April 23, 2026, from 13:00 to 14:30, a seminar-training session was held at the coworking space on the topic:
“Tolyk Adam and Mental Health: Balance of Mind and Body”
(within the framework of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals).

The seminar was conducted by Bimanova A.I., psychologist of Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications, for faculty members and advisors.

  • The event was organized by the Head of the Office of Inclusive Education and Mental Health, Shabdenova D.R..
  • Organizational support for the event was provided by the Director of the Department for Educational and Social Work, Tashimbetova A.T.
  • The seminar was attended by 13 faculty members from 12 departments and 15 advisors.

The event was aligned with the United Nations SDGs:

  • SDG 3 – Good Health and Well-being
  • SDG 4 – Quality Education

All activities within the seminar were structured based on the concept of Абай Кунанбаев “Tolyk Adam”, which emphasizes the balance of three core dimensions of human development:
“Aqyl” (rational thinking), “Qairat” (willpower and action), and “Zhylu Zhurek” (empathy and compassion).

During the seminar, participants:

  • engaged in discussions on relevant topics;
  • completed elements of psychological diagnostics;
  • worked on practical case studies;
  • collaborated in groups using mind-mapping techniques.
