On February 26, 2026, a significant event took place, uniting the educational and social initiatives of the Department of General Engineering. The faculty and students visited the Akhmet Baitursynov House-Museum and participated in a meeting with the prominent public figure Asly Osman. The event was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the 1st All-Union Turkological Congress.

The implementation of Sustainable Development Goal 3 — “Good Health and Well-being” — involves not only physical safety but also social and mental well-being. We are convinced that human well-being is not just a physical state, but also mental, social, and spiritual health.

Visiting the memorial museum of the great enlightener Akhmet Baitursynov contributes to the formation of a stable national identity, which is a guarantee of psychological comfort and the confidence of young people in their future.

A special highlight of the day was an open dialogue with Asly Alievna Osman. A Turkologist and a passionate patriot, she shared her vision with engineering students on how knowledge of language and history influences success in any professional field.

“An engineer builds buildings and mechanisms, but knowing one’s roots builds the human soul,” emphasized Asly Osman during her conversation with the youth.

The visit to the museum and the open dialogue with Asly Osman demonstrated that preserving the cultural code and caring for the “health” of the nation through education is our collective contribution to achieving global well-being goals.
