On March 14 of this year, the Department of “Energy” organized an online guest lecture dedicated to the current issues of electric power supply in Kazakhstan’s railway transport. The speaker was Kaiyrat Sapiullayevich Dzhusupbekov, Deputy Director of the Department of Electrification and Energy at JSC “NC “KTZ.”
During the lecture, the following topics were covered:
- Electric power supply for Kazakhstan’s railway infrastructure: current state, key technical solutions, and technologies used.
- Ensuring the reliability of the energy system: methods for minimizing risks and preventing emergency situations in the railway power grid.
- Railway electrification: implemented projects and prospects for further development.
- Digitalization and innovative technologies: the role of automated energy management systems, modern approaches to monitoring and dispatching.
The lecture generated great interest among students and faculty. Participants had the opportunity to ask questions to the expert, learn about the prospects for the development of electric power supply for railway transport, and explore the modern technologies applied in the industry.
We would like to thank Kaiyrat Sapiullayevich Dzhusupbekov for his insightful presentation and valuable information!
We wish students success in acquiring knowledge and further professional achievements in the field of electrical engineering.
