On October 27, 2026, teachers of ALT University met with the staff of the Almaty Locomotive Depot and held an educational seminar on the topic “Legally competent socially responsible person” in accordance with the SDGs of 16 institutes of peace, justice and efficiency and 11 Sustainable Cities and Settlements of ALT University.
The main goal of the event is to increase the legal literacy of employees, form a legal culture, strengthen civil responsibility and explain the importance of maintaining law and order in society. During the seminar, an overview of the new Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan was presented, its basic principles, rights and freedoms, duties and importance in the formation of the rule of law were considered.
The content of the event was supplemented by one of the most important areas of the spiritual and moral heritage of Abai Kunanbaiuly – the teaching “Tolyk Adam“. Within the framework of this teaching, issues of spiritual perfection, moral qualities and responsibility to society were discussed.
The importance of the seminar was reflected in the combination of legal education and spiritual and moral education. A comprehensive study of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the doctrine of Abai “Perfect Man” contributes to increasing citizens’ respect for the law, strengthening moral values and a deep understanding of their responsibility to society.
Such meetings between ALT University and industrial organizations are an important step aimed at the development of legal education, the exchange of knowledge and experience, as well as the formation of a socially responsible person with a high legal culture in a professional environment.
