The Department of Energy at ALT University successfully held a competition dedicated to the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals, in particular, Goal №7 – ensuring access to affordable and clean energy. This event reflects our ongoing commitment to innovation and the development of sustainable energy solutions.
Event Overview:
Students from the educational program 6B07188 – IT-Energy participated in the competition and presented projects aimed at improving and optimizing the use of renewable energy sources. The students showcased their research through presentations and practical demonstrations of models and prototypes.
Results:
1st Place – Group EE-IT-22-1k: Daukeev Ali Nubolatuly, Erkibaeva Akmaral Nurlankyzy – for innovative solutions to improve the efficiency of solar panels.
2nd Place – Group EE-IT-22-6k: Tekebay Zhasulan Zaluly, Beibit Altynay Muratkizy – for a project on enhancing wind energy systems.
3rd Place – Group EE-IT-22-7k: Yermek Korkem Asilkhanqyzy, Seksenbay Aruzhan Baktiyarkyzy, Amangeldi Meirzhan Akhmetuly – for developing energy-efficient solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises.
The competition encouraged students to develop and implement projects that could significantly impact the sustainable development of the energy sector. We thank all participants for their contributions and creativity, as well as the academic advisors for their support and mentorship.
