On April 14, 2026, associate professors of the Department of “Language Education” G.A. Kalambayeva, G.K. Eszhanova of the Mukhamedzhan Tynyshpayev ALT University held an educational event on the topic: “The role of volunteerism in the life of modern society”.
During the event, students worked in teams representing various areas of volunteerism: environmental, medical, sports, and others. Six teams demonstrated their projects in the format of presentations, creative performances, videos on cleaning the territory and the interactive game Kahoot.
Participants developed teamwork, communication, and critical thinking skills, as well as the importance of volunteerism in solving social and environmental problems.
As a result, the students came to the conclusion that volunteering contributes to the formation of social responsibility, active citizenship and personal growth. The event is aimed at the implementation of SDG 4 “Quality education” and the development of a well-rounded personality.
