On January 12, 2026, the University hosted an educational and methodological seminar for participants of the School of Young Teachers. The event brought together early-career educators with up to five years of teaching experience.

The seminar was organized by the Head of the School of Young Teachers, K.K. Nurakhmetova, and the Chief Specialist-Expert of the Office of Academic Planning and Control, K.S. Baktybayeva.

During the meeting, the special significance of the current period was emphasized: 2026 has been declared the Year of Artificial Intelligence and Digitalization by the Head of State. Participants were reminded that digital transformation is not merely a current trend but a strategic priority in the development of the education system. Young teachers are encouraged to actively integrate elements of artificial intelligence into the educational process in order to prepare students for work in a high-tech and rapidly changing environment.

These initiatives align with Sustainable Development Goal No. 4, “Quality Education,” as they are aimed at modernizing educational practices, improving teaching quality, and preparing students for learning and professional activity in the context of the digital economy.

Special attention was given to the methodological renewal of teaching practices. It was noted that the modern educational process should not be limited solely to traditional forms of instruction.

Among the key requirements for conducting classes, the following were highlighted:

  • Interactivity — active use of interactive whiteboards and multimedia technologies.
  • Group work — implementation of team-based learning formats, discussions, and case studies to develop communication skills and collaborative problem-solving abilities.
  • Active learning methods — application of innovative pedagogical techniques that transform students from passive listeners into active participants in the learning process.

Attention was also drawn to the importance of regular visits to the University’s Library and Information Center. A teacher must remain informed about the latest scientific research and discoveries. The use of materials from up-to-date specialized journals and academic publications available in the library collection is a mandatory condition for ensuring the relevance of educational content.

In conclusion, the organizers noted that the seminar became an important stage in the professional development of young teachers. The University continues its systematic efforts to support early-career educators, creating favorable conditions for their creative and professional growth in the context of global digitalization.
