During the 2nd semester of the 2025–2026 academic year, the Department of Architecture and Civil Engineering conducted a dual education program for the course “Geology, Soil Mechanics, Foundations, and Footings.” From March 2 to April 20, 2026, the training took place at the facilities of JSC “KazDorNII”.
Under the guidance of the industry mentor, Head of Laboratory D.A. Alimzhanov, students successfully:

Mastered modern methods of engineering-geological surveys and laboratory soil testing;

Explored the practical aspects of foundation and footing design;

Gained hands-on experience with specialized equipment, result analysis, and the application of technical regulations.
This dual education model significantly enhances the professional readiness of students, bridging the gap between academic theory and industrial requirements.
