On January 29, 2026, within the framework of Sustainable Development Goal 3 — “Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages” — a collaboration was held between the University and NurLab Medical Clinic. Clinical psychologist D.K. Kabiken conducted a personal growth group training for students with special educational needs (SEN).
As part of the event, group trainings titled “I Am Like You, You Are Like Me!” were organized, aimed at fostering a positive, respectful, and inclusive attitude toward students with SEN, as well as developing empathy, mutual understanding, and supportive interaction.
The training was held in the format of an Inclusive Development Session “Together We Are Stronger,” where participants:
-
recognized the value of diversity;
-
strengthened interpersonal communication skills;
-
experienced acceptance and support within the educational environment.
Such initiatives contribute to improving students’ mental well-being and promoting equality and inclusion in higher education.
