04/24/2025 in room O202, the head of the Almaty Signaling and Communication Distance of the branch of JSC NC KTZ – Almaty branch of the Mainline Network, M.N. Kuanshbayev, gave a guest lecture to 3rd-year students of the Automation and Control Department on the topic: Development of digital control systems and train safety in the Almaty branch of the mainline network. The students got acquainted with current trends in the development of digital control systems and train safety, which is directly related to their future profession. The lecture allowed them to understand how modern technologies are used to improve safety on railways and improve automation processes.
In addition, the students learned about the specifics of the work of the Almaty branch of the backbone network, which expands their understanding of the real tasks and problems faced by specialists in the field of automation and control. The discussion of real-world projects and practical solutions applied in the industry gave students an idea of how theoretical knowledge can be applied in practice. This will help them better prepare for their professional activities and become more confident in the field of high technology and safety of transport systems.
Thus, the lecture provided students not only with useful information about current achievements and developments in the field of digital control systems, but also deepened their knowledge about the functioning of one of the key divisions of Kazakhstan’s transport infrastructure.
