In accordance with Sustainable Development Goal 4, which aims to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all, on May 8, under the guidance of senior lecturer M.D. Zhumagulov of the Department of AGPE and Physical Education, first-year students visited the ethnographic park “Boraldai Saka Burial Mounds.” During the excursion, the students became acquainted with the lifestyle, dwellings, and settlements of the Saka tribes that inhabited the territory of Kazakhstan during the 8th–4th centuries BCE. Afterwards, the students visited the Issyk State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve, where they had the opportunity to see the armor and weapons of the Saka prince known as the “Golden Man,” discovered in 1969, as well as gold ornaments and other valuable artifacts. The excursion allowed the students to learn about the significance and uniqueness of Saka culture while experiencing these historical treasures firsthand. The museum serves as an important center for preserving, studying, and promoting historical and cultural heritage, as well as safeguarding the spiritual wealth and historical memory of the people for future generations. Through its exhibits, the museum connects the past with the present, providing young people with educational, cultural, and scientific insight while fostering a deeper appreciation of national history and heritage.
