GOAL 7 – LOW-COST AND CLEAN ENERGY
ALT University actively implements sustainable development principles aimed at energy conservation and improved energy efficiency. SDG 7 seeks to ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable, and modern energy for all. This goal includes improving energy efficiency, developing innovative renewable energy sources, and promoting sustainable energy use practices on campus.
The University plays a key role in advancing new technologies and training professionals in sustainable energy, as well as creating an eco-friendly campus environment — an important step toward achieving global sustainable development goals. As part of sustainable development and the rational use of resources, solar panels have been installed on the university’s rooftop. This solution helps reduce electricity consumption from non-renewable sources and lowers the carbon footprint. The use of clean energy is an important step toward creating an environmentally responsible and energy-efficient educational environment.
This approach not only enhances the quality of life for students and faculty but also lays the foundation for developing advanced energy solutions for broader societal use.
