Dual education at ALT University
Dual education at ALT University – is a form of personnel training that combines university studies with practical work at partner enterprises.
Such a system allows students to acquire theoretical knowledge and simultaneously apply it in practice under real production conditions.
Advantages for students:
- official participation based on a tripartite agreement (student — university — enterprise);
- reinforcement of knowledge through practical training;
- development of professional competencies and portfolio building;
- the opportunity for employment in their specialty after graduation.
Program organization:
Dual education is implemented based on an approved work-study plan and program agreed upon with the enterprise.
The enterprise provides workplaces, appoints mentors, and ensures conditions for the practical training.
The university provides academic supervision and monitors learning outcomes. (at the organization, a practical training supervisor is appointed who is responsible for coordinating the dual education)
Program Participants:
Students in their 3rd or 4th year, as well as those studying on the basis of T&PE are eligible for dual education upon agreement with the institute.
The minimum participation term is one semester.
Applications are accepted one month before the start of the semester.
Required documents for program participation:
- Certificate from the place of employment (the company’s activities must match the student’s field of study and correspond to the appropriate CCЕA)
- Memorandum.
- Tripartite agreement on dual education.
- Dual education curriculum, agreed upon with the organization.
- Dual education program for dual education, agreed upon with the organization (Syllabus).
- Training and workplaces at organizations, equipped for implementing industrial training and professional practice.
- Mentors for industrial training/professional practice at the organizations.
The university makes the decision on admission to the dual program after verifying the provided documents.
