On May 21, 2024, a Job Fair was held at ALT University named after Mukhamedzhan Tynyshpaev. The event was organized by the Career Development Office of the Department of Corporate Cooperation at ALT in collaboration with the City Career Center (UMP of Almaty).
The Job Fair became a quick and effective way for graduates to find employment and for companies to recruit new employees. Job seekers had the opportunity to learn about various employment options at leading companies, submit their resumes to company representatives or fill out application forms, go through interviews, and receive invitations for further interviews, all within a few hours.
Employers were provided the opportunity to conduct individual interviews with graduates, post job vacancies on the university’s website and social media, as well as set up tablets, models, and multimedia installations. Information about the event was widely covered on social media and the university’s official website.
More than 40 employers participated in the fair, presenting over 500 job vacancies. Among the participants were companies such as JSC “NC “KTZ”, JSC “Vagonservice”, LLP “ShyngarTrans”, LLP “Integra Construction KZ” – “Southern Directorate”, Air Energi Caspian (AIRSWIFT brand), Wabtec Corporation, JSC “DTJ”, LLP “Electric Locomotive Assembly Plant”, Almaty Post Office Branch of JSC “Kazpost”, LLP Arena S, LLP “IFC COLOS”, LLP “UBM GROUP”, LLP “Asstra Almaty”, LLP “Amperel”, LLP “TL NIKA GROUP”, GKP PHV “Metropolitan”, JSC “SP “Akbastau”, JSC “Ulba Metallurgical Plant”, LLP “InterService”, LLP “Almatyelectrotrans”, and JSC “Kazakhtelecom”, among others.
Masterclasses and training sessions were also organized for graduates and students as part of the job fair.
