On October 15th of this year, students met with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of “Atasu Group,” Zhuman Marat Kozhakhanuly. Marat Kozhakhanuly is an alumnus of our university, having graduated in 1999 with a degree in “Railway Transport Organization and Engineering.” During the guest lecture, he shared his experience in the field of logistics and international transportation, as well as highlighted the key aspects of the company’s operations.
“Atasu Group” is one of the leaders in Kazakhstan’s logistics market, specializing in the organization of freight transportation across the CIS, Europe, and Asia. Marat Kozhakhanuly explained how the company efficiently manages shipments, operates international routes, and uses modern technologies to optimize logistics processes. He placed special emphasis on environmentally friendly solutions and new approaches to reducing costs while maintaining high service standards.
During the lecture, students actively asked questions related to the practical aspects of working in logistics. They were particularly interested in internship and placement opportunities within “Atasu Group,” as well as the qualifications required for professionals in this field. Marat Kozhakhanuly noted that the company is always open to young professionals and is committed to training skilled personnel. He emphasized that successful employment in this industry requires a deep understanding of logistics chains, flexibility in problem-solving, and readiness to work in the conditions of the international market.
Additionally, students learned about the company’s plans to expand its transportation network and implement new logistical solutions, which sparked great interest among those planning to pursue a career in logistics and international trade.
