On March 14, 2025, ALT University hosted an informational lesson on the topic of “Gender Equality in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan” (AFRK).
The goal of the event was to raise students’ awareness of gender equality principles, the roles of women and men in the military, and to foster an understanding among young people about the importance of equal rights and opportunities in national security.
During the session, the following topics were discussed:
- The legislative foundations of gender policy in the AFRK;
- The role of women in the military and their contribution to security;
- Challenges and prospects for implementing equality principles in military service.
The event was conducted in an interactive format: students asked questions, provided examples, and shared their opinions. Additionally, statistical data on the number of women in the armed forces and examples of successful careers of female military personnel were presented.
Such events help promote a tolerant and fair attitude toward equality issues in society.
