On May 26, 2026, comprehensive training sessions were held at Dormitory No. 4 by Daria Rakhimalievna Shabdenova, Head of the Office of Inclusive Education and Mental Health, in collaboration with Asem Zhenissova, a Clinical Psychologist from the “AQ JOL Medical Clinic”. The events were organized under the framework of UN Sustainable Development Goal 3 (SDG 3): “Good Health and Well-being”.

Interactive training workshops tailored for various student groups focused on the following crucial topics:

  • “Prevention of Self-Destructive Behavior Among Students: Causes and Ways of Prevention”

  • “ALT Talks: Confidence at Exams is Real” (psychological preparation for the examination period)

During these sessions, students acquired essential self-regulation and emotional stabilization techniques through targeted practical exercises. They explored various categories of cognitive distortions, learned proactive anxiety reduction methods, and discovered ways to enhance emotional resilience under academic and examination stress. Additionally, students participated in a mental health screening based on anxiety and depression scales, aimed at the timely identification of emotional challenges and the provision of professional psychological support.

We express our sincere gratitude to the institute directors, deputy directors, academic advisors, dormitory commandant, and student group leaders for their valuable assistance in ensuring the prompt and efficient organization of these vital events.
