On September 12-13, 2024, the Vice-Rector for Corporate and Social Development A. Ivanov and the Head of the Department of Information and Telecommunications Technologies D. Kasymova participated in the China International Education Exhibition in Jiangxi, organized by the Jiangxi Provincial Department of Education at the special invitation of the Beijing company RHIHUA in the field of international educational technologies.
The exhibition is dedicated to promoting the high-quality development of study abroad initiatives, facilitating inter-university exchanges, and fostering collaboration between Chinese and foreign universities. At the opening of the education exhibition, Vice-Rector A. Ivanov delivered a welcoming speech on behalf of the delegation of Kazakh universities
A roundtable meeting was also held with the leadership of five universities from Almaty and Jiangxi Province, as well as the city of Nanchang. During the meeting, representatives from the universities of both countries expressed their readiness for cooperation and emphasized the importance of mutually beneficial partnerships. The parties also discussed the possibility of signing a cooperation agreement, which would involve the exchange of experience, resources, and information to achieve common goals, as well as organizing internships for Kazakh students in China. This is a great opportunity for young professionals to familiarize themselves with international practices, expand their knowledge, and enhance their skills abroad.
A series of press conferences and presentations was held from September 9 to 13, 2024, in the cities of Jingdezhen and Nanchang, where Mei Yakun, president of the Beijing-based international educational technology company Beijing PHIHUA Co. LTD, organized meetings with representatives of several Chinese universities: Nanchang Aviation University (NCHU), Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics, Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute (JCI), and Jiangxi Vocational and Technical College of Transportation.

The leadership of the Jiangxi Provincial and Nanchang City Departments of Education, as well as the administrations of Chinese universities, are offering Chinese students the opportunity to study in Kazakhstan and Kazakh students to study in China through “2+1” and “2+2” bachelor’s programs, as well as master’s programs, along with the implementation of other student exchange programs.
As part of further cooperation, the proposal includes the creation of innovative laboratories for workforce training, the organization of master classes on educational programs, and the implementation of joint international projects.
For the Chinese side, this cooperation is an important part of the global “Belt and Road” initiative, which unites countries through whose territories the historic Silk Road once passed.
Representatives of the Scientific Services Exchange Center of the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China thanked ALT University for its participation in the exhibition.
