As part of ensuring students’ psychological safety, preventing self-destructive and self-harming behavior, and supporting the implementation of SDG 3 “Good Health and Well-being,” preventive events were held in the student residences of ALT University on May 18, 2026.
In Student House No. 2, a lecture-seminar for 54 students was conducted by AQ JOL clinical psychologist Rita Vladimirovna Marinets. The session focused on suicide prevention among youth, early signs of emotional distress, psychological resilience, and timely access to professional support.
In Student House No. 4, an event for 50 students was held by Daria Rakhimalievna Shabdenova, Head of the Office of Inclusive Education and Mental Health. The discussion covered emotional well-being, prevention of crisis conditions, and available psychological support services at the university.
Additional topics addressed during the events included:
• “Tolerance in Communication;
• conflict, stress, and aggression management;
• development of a culture of mutual respect, support, and safe interaction among students.
