On February 11, 2025, ALT university named after M. Tynyshbayev hosted a literary and musical evening dedicated to the 94th anniversary of the great Kazakh poet, poet Mukagali Makatayev.
This evening was organized with the aim of popularizing the rich heritage of the poet, introducing young people to his work more deeply and instilling love for poetry. During the evening, New Facts about the life and work of Mukagali Makatayev were told, poems of the poet were read, heartfelt songs were sung.
Students and teachers had the opportunity to look into the spiritual world of the poet, to deeply understand his works in poetry, filled with mystery and sadness, nostalgia and love, moral and patriotic feelings. A special video dedicated to the life and work of Mukagali Makatayev was shown as an important part of the event. It described the poet’s creative path, his contribution to literature, and the assessment given to him by his contemporaries. In addition, young students performed the poet’s poems with special excitement and gave the audience an unforgettable experience.
Another interesting part of the evening was literary games and quizzes. In this section, the participants answered questions about the work of Mukagali Makatayev and tested their knowledge. The active winners were awarded special prizes. This spiritual evening not only glorified the eternal heritage of the poet, but also increased students ‘ interest in literature and brought them one step closer to the heights of Kazakh poetry.
