On February 18, 2025, a guest lecture on “Rules for Organizing Emergency Recovery Works at JSC “National Company “Kazakhstan Temir Zholy” was held at ALT University named after Mukhamedzhan Tynyshpaev. The speaker of the event was Kanat Gilimzhanovich Ismailov, Director of the Department of Recovery and Fire Trains of the branch of JSC “NC “KTZ” – “Mainline Network Directorate”.
The lecture gathered students of the educational programs “Railway Track and Track Facilities”, “Track and Road Machines”, as well as professors of related disciplines. During the event, participants gained valuable knowledge about regulatory requirements governing emergency recovery work in railway transport, specifics of organizing recovery activities, and applied technologies.
Kanat Gilimzhanovich provided detailed insights into key aspects of the operation of recovery and fire trains, mechanisms for eliminating the consequences of emergency situations, and the introduction of modern technologies to enhance response efficiency. Special attention was paid to safety issues in railway transport, action algorithms during accidents, and the use of specialized equipment.
At the end of the event, Kanat Gilimzhanovich Ismailov emphasized the importance of training qualified specialists in the field of railway transport and highlighted the significance of cooperation between educational institutions and industrial enterprises.
