According to the schedule of the educational process, from April 29 to May 25 of the current academic year, 3rd year students of JSC “ALT University named after M. Tynyshpayev” underwent practical training. The purpose of industrial practice is to consolidate the theoretical knowledge acquired by students while studying disciplines, familiarize themselves with the technology and organization of production. A total of 380 students were sent to practice. The main base of practice is the regional branches of «NC «Kazakhstan Temir Zholy» JSC and «KTZ-Freight Transportation» JSC. Also, students were sent to «Kazakhtelecom» JSC, TNC «Kazchrome» JSC, «Almatyelectrotrans» JSC, «Shyngar-Trans» JSC, «Kazakhstan Road Research Institute» JSC, «Kazakh Scientific Research Institute for Road Safety» JSC and various companies in the transport and logistics industry.
During their practical training, students became familiar with regulatory documentation and technological processes of enterprises, were involved in vehicle maintenance work, helped in the construction, reconstruction, and repair of roads and railways, and studied the organization of processes for storing and transporting goods.
The progress of practical training for students of the specialty “Railway and Track Facilities” in the Almaty track distance PCh-46 was covered in the industry newspaper “Zheleznodorozhnik of Kazakhstan” and on the KTZ website.
Upon completion of the practical training, reports were provided describing the work done.
